Ayurveda - means 1) Ayu-Life 2) Veda - Knowledge



Ayurveda
Is a traditional 'Indian art' of healing that has to this day many users in India, Nepal and Shri Lanka.
Literally translated Ayurveda means Science of life or wisdom.
The term comes from India Sanskrit and is composed of the words 
1) Ayu - Life
2) Veda - Knowledge.                                                                                      

Key elements of Ayurveda are:
a)- Ayurveda massage and cleansing techniques.
b)- the sound nutrition
c)- Spiritual Yoga practice                        
d)-Knowledgeable herbal medicine.                                                                                                                    

Ayurveda is a combination of experience and philosophy, which focuses on human physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects. Thus Ayurveda has a holistic claim.                                                                                      
Education of Martial Arts Warrior does not only include the arts of healing.                                                                          
It also covers mental and spiritual aspect bedside physical ones.                                                                                    
The age of Ayurveda is not known estimates references (Aginvesha Tantra) are 3000 yrs. old.
